GSL had been advising on the scheme for some months, helping to guide and develop the detail to when we were appointed the project.

We were to deliver the mid-level pods creating additional office space. The use of glass helped to keep the extra space feel a part of the original office. This project was particularly challenging due to the offices being in use throughout and the difficulties of an inner-city environment. We had to juggle with an overlapping programme of key trades such as the structural frame and M&E.

Now fully complete, the finished project is stunning and will provide a contemporary workspace for Barclays.
